Born in Cardiff, on the 06/06/1960 at 6am in the morning, how weird is that.  A bloodline of Welsh, English, German and Danish Jewish heritage a proper mixed European.  I grew up in Cwmbran where I have remained to this day, inspired by the trees, mountain springs, rivers, wildlife, sky, moon, stars  and the mountain  Mynydd Maen ( Stone Mountain ) with it's ancient archaeological sites.

 

My work is influenced by the great beauty of my local landscape, a fascination with architectural form within it, Celtic culture, religion, human spirituality, and the concept of God’s creation. It attempts to invoke the essence of these things and hopes to resonate aspects of our Ancient roots. 

Before I changed my career I spent 16 years working in industry.

 

As an artist I trained at Pontypool College of further Education, and Carmarthen University where I studied illustration. Artist’s that have inspired me are too numerous to list, but I am grateful to them all.

 

My work is of mix media incorporating Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels, Ink and Graphite.
